7:00PM 12:00PM Prairie Moderns: The Artwork of Don Holladay   The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma's newest art exhibit, "Prairie Moderns: The Artwork of Don Holladay," will open in the Nesbitt Gallery on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. A reception will be held in the gallery and is free and open to the public. Holladay focuses on figurative and non-objective images that convey isolation. His studio includes an etching press and many of his pieces originate from the printmaking process, which he sees as lending itself to solitary figures and uncluttered images. Holladay's works have appeared in solo and juried shows across the state, including MainSite Contemporary Gallery, Norman Depot, Norman Firehouse Art Center, The Goddard Center, Paseo Originals, Leslie Powell Gallery, IAO, USAO's Nesbitt Gallery, the University of Oklahoma's Lightwell Gallery among others. He serves as the Board Chairman of the Oklahoma Arts Institute Foundation and was named to the USAO Foundation's Board of Trustees last summer.

7:30PM 9:00PM Davis-Waldorf Performing Arts Series: Timothy Moon   Timothy Mooney will return to USAO to perform his hit one-man show, Lot O’ Shakespeare. Mooney combines high-brow art with low-brow fun in a performance that is like a bingo game: he knows pieces from all of Shakespeare’s works, but the selection of sonnets and monologues is chosen at random while the audience plays along!
