The University of Science and Arts will welcome several vocal music education alumni and their choirs back to campus on March 9 for the inaugural Music Alumni Choral Festival. The public is invited to watch the groups rehearse before the day-long event culminates in a free performance in Te Ata Memorial Auditorium at 3 p.m.The concert will feature more than 125 students from fifth to 12th grade from the Pioneer, Alex, Blanchard and Bridge Creek public schools.

From 7:00PM to 9:30PM

USAO will be hosting an art reception for local artists Dr. John Bruce, Carrie Chavers, Adam Heilman, Gina Zhidov, and Josh Tualia as part of a student's senior capstone project (Lindsey Shown). The show will remain open to the public until March 15th, but the reception will be the evening of March 9th at 7pm. Light refreshments will be served.
